This Lent, our Mini Vinnies are focusing on following Jesus by taking time to get to know others. During the first week, we reflected on one kind action we could do to help someone feel noticed, listened to, or less alone. The children wrote their ideas on small water drops, which were added to our Well of Kindness.

Our Mini Vinnies also had a wonderful afternoon at Hollyacre Bungalow Care Home. The children spent time crafting with the residents, sharing smiles, conversations, and lots of creativity. Everyone had a fantastic time with juice and biscuits to end our time together. The children gave their thoughtfully created artwork to the residents of Holly Acre Bungalow. They were delighted to receive the pieces, and it was wonderful to witness how a simple act of kindness can have such a positive impact on someone’s day.
